ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Onslow County is expanding its Community Paramedic Response Initiative with new resources and procedures.
Wendi Mancuso, assistant chief of community paramedicine, spoke to WITN about the new implementations and why they were needed.
Onslow County EMS received around 1,200 non-emergency calls last year. While that’s not as many as emergent calls, Mancuso says it’s still frequent enough to warrant change.
