×A four-year starter who has been on target with touchdown throws since he first stepped on the field for Lebanon High School’s football team as a ninth grader, top-notch performances have come to be expected from senior quarterback Michael Reece.

Yet, the sublime stat line he produced last week in a 53-22 Southwest District triumph over Marion was eye-popping and garnered attention across the Commonwealth.

He completed every one of his pass attempts – the numbers varied from different statisticians whether it was 18, 19 or 20 – for somewhere between 396-400 yards (again the numbers vary) with seven TD passes.

Forget the numbers crunch for a moment.

Unequivocally, it was beyond impressive.

No drops, no overthrows, no incompletions.
