BUFFALO, N.Y. — Dozens of people attended a memorial honoring Charlie Kirk on Wednesday night at Niagara Square.

The event was hosted by The Constitutional Coalition of NYS, and it followed a nationwide trend of remembrances for Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA. The popular conservative youth organizer was killed Sept. 10 after being shot at during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

There was a similar event held Sunday night at Gratwick Park in North Tonawanda, where people gathered to remember Kirk during a candlelight vigil.

President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and many others have been announced as speakers at Kirk's memorial service on Sunday .
