HURON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Huron Tigers picked up their biggest win in years last Friday when they shut down the Titans of Tea Area 16-0 on their home field.

That came on the heals of a win over Pierre, winners of 7 state titles in the last 8 years. Needless to say this is a team that is feeling really good and having fun in the process.

Dru Strand, Huron Football Coach says, “You know I think it just goes to show these guys and their commitment and they are really buying into the program and what we are trying to do and what these kids are capable of. I think everybody kind of doubts us and after having two weeks in a row and coming in here and playing with the top half of AA so it’s awesome for our guys.”

The Tigers are at Sturgis to play the 3rd-ranked Scoopers this Friday. S
