Spirit Airlines will be reducing its flight capacity by a staggering 25% year-over-year, bringing with it a wave of job cuts starting in November, according to a company memo.
The devastating downsizing is being done to “optimize our network to focus on our strongest markets,” Spirit Airlines CEO Dave Davis announced to employees in the note obtained by The Post.
“These evaluations will inevitably affect the size of our teams as we become a more efficient airline,” Davis acknowledged. 3
