TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The STAR Village pilot program from the city of Tucson aims to provide a creative solution to the homelessness crisis, but many are opposed.
For at least a year, the project will house about 25 homeless women and non-binary individuals at an open-air encampment near Grant and Stone.
Ward 3 Councilmember Kevin Dahl and other officials hosted a community meeting on Wednesday to share more about the project with residents.
