Bobbi Bailin will lead "Dances for Peace and Understanding" at UU Falmouth, 840 Sandwich Road, East Falmouth, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM on Saturday, September 20. The session is free and open to the public. No partner or experience is needed. Saturday’s dance area is carpeted. People are invited to wear soft shoes or socks.

Bailin invites participants to form a caring circle and patiently teaches easy-to-learn, simple steps and gestures, moving in harmony to world music that inspires her. The event coincides with the International Day of Peace, which is also being celebrated by dance in other locations.

The dances Bailin leads are from ancient times to the present with the intention to bring healing, peace and joy into people’s lives and into the world. They range from meditative or prayerful
