CINCINNATI, Ohio — Bengals quarterback Jake Browning already has plenty of history with the Minnesota Vikings heading into Sunday’s matchup in Minneapolis.
The Vikings signed Browning as an undrafted free agent in 2019, but they cut him three straight years. He joined Cincinnati’s practice squad on Sept. 7, 2021, just seven days after Minnesota cut him for the third time.
Fast-forward two years later to Dec. 16, 2023, when Browning was starting for Joe Burrow, who was out for the season with a torn right wrist ligament. It was Browning’s fourth career start, and it was against the Vikings.
