18 seniors from area high schools named National Merit semifinalists

Eighteen seniors from high schools in and around Fort Collins, Loveland and Windsor have been named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program, organizers announced.

That designation was determined by students' scores on the 2024 Preliminary SAT, which serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, according to a Sept. 10 news release from the foundation that runs the scholarship program.
