THE Washington Commanders' $3.8 billion return to their former historic site has officially been confirmed.

This is despite Donald Trump's threats to block the deal if they don't change their name back to the Washington Redskins.

It was officially announced this week that the Commanders will return to the site of their former home, RFK Stadium, in 2030.

The $3.8 billion deal was signed off on by the District of Columbia Council on Wednesday.

But, Trump has said he will not allow the deal unless the NFL team agree to his terms.
