MIDDLEBURY — The law firm of Moore, O’Brien and Foti located at 891 Straits Turnpike in Middlebury, recently delivered 100 donated backpacks to the Waterbury School System and to a local family in need.

Moore, O’Brien and Foti began its donation effort with a simple goal to donate 30 backpacks filled with supplies to help children start the school year prepared. But thanks to the generosity and kindness of their staff, clients and the community, the law firm tripled its goal and were able to donate 100 backpacks.

During the delivery, law firm representatives were welcomed by Mayor Pernerewski, Waterbury School Superintendent Dr. Schwartz, school officials, and most importantly, the students who will carry these backpacks with them into a new school year. Members of the firm said the smil
