BROOKLYN, Ohio

Stolen cat, Brookpark Road: On Aug. 17, police were dispatched to Walmart regarding a felonious feline incident.

An arriving officer talked to the North Royalton caller, who said someone a few days earlier stole his cat, which was left in his vehicle at the Brookpark Road parking lot.

The cat was valued at $300. There are no suspects.

Police are investigating.

Property damage, Westbrook Drive: On Aug. 17, a concerned Westbrook Drive resident called police after witnessing suspicious behavior at the Westbrook Village Apartments.

An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said they saw someone pulling on vehicle door handle.

The officer discovered a Kia Sorrento with an open door that had been damaged.

Also, the Kia had been rummaged through.

There are no suspect
