Patrick Kielty emotionally discussed his marriage breakdown on Friday evening as he presented The Late Late Show.

Patrick had been married to This Morning star Cat Deeley, from West Bromwich, for 12 years before they revealed their separation in July.

As The Late Late Show returned, Patrick sused the moment to thank his supporters for their backing following his separation.

Patrick grew tearful whilst referencing his family during his opening speech.

"Honestly it is so nice to be back with you especially after this summer where I have genuinely been blown away by all the love and support that has been sent my way," he said.
