A man has been charged after Donald Trump's Turnberry golf resort was vandalised. ‌

The 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with malicious mischief at a golf course at a premises on Maidens Road, Turnberry on 4.40am on Saturday, March, 8. ‌

Red paint and slogans were painted on buildings, and grass dug up on the course near Girvan. ‌

Officers detained the man in London today, Thursday, September, 18. He has been released on an undertaking and will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court at a later date.
