(Gray News) – Starbucks said there are “no restrictions” on customers asking for Charlie Kirk’s name on their order after a viral video on TikTok claimed otherwise.

A TikTok user went viral for recording an exchange between herself and a barista at a Starbucks in California.

When the barista asked for a name on the order, the customer replied, “Charlie Kirk.”

Immediately, the barista responded that they aren’t allowed to “do political names,” but she offered to write “Charlie” on the cup.

The customer asked why the barista couldn’t write the full name, and the barista responded, “because it’s political.”

As the barista starts to make the drink, the customer tells her, “You know what? Forget it. I don’t want it.”

In a statement Tuesday , Starbucks said:
