GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (PRESS RELEASE) - The City of Grand Island, in partnership with the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the new Pier Park Skatepark at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 25.
Speakers at the event will include Grand Island Mayor Roger Steele, Parks & Recreation Director Todd McCoy and Grand Island Chamber President Mary Berlie. The Pier Park Skatepark project is the result of multiple public input meetings and extensive conversations with community stakeholders.
