ARIZONA Cardinals star quarterback Kyler Murray apologized after being criticized over a Michael Vick dog shirt.

The two-time NFL Pro Bowler's photoshoot has sparked online controversy.

On Wednesday, Murray posted a picture of himself wearing a retro Virginia Tech Vick jersey while posing with one of his two bulldogs.

Unsurprisingly, fans took offense to the Cardinals star's post.

Vick spent 21 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to charges related to dogfighting.

Murray deleted the post after seeing the backlash online and sent his apologies during his Wednesday press conference.

"In no way, shape, or form do I condone animal cruelty," he said, per ESPN.
