The Washington Commanders stadium is coming to D.C. Here’s what to expect.

After a decade of wrangling in Congress, a team name change, a team ownership change, months of negotiations between Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) and the Washington Commanders and months more with the D.C. Council, it’s happening: A new stadium for the football team is slated to be built on the banks of the Anacostia River by the 2030 season.
