A 37-year-old Battle Creek man called a "high-level drug trafficker" by police was arrested outside Battle Creek Thursday, Sept. 17, after police conducted a search at a Pennfield Township home.
More than 1 pound of cocaine, heroin/fentanyl, manufacturing equipment, packaging, and other items were seized in the Calhoun County search, the Michigan State Police Fifth District said in a post on X.
The man was charged with possession with intent to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine, possession of heroin/fentanyl, maintaining a drug house, and a bond violation, the MSP said. The suspect's identity was not provided in the release.
