BLUFFDALE, Utah (ABC4) — An 18-year-old has been arrested after allegedly hiding in a 12-year-old's room for days, then being found with her after she ran away.

Ryker Xethanial Buxton, 18, is facing charges of rape of a child, two counts of sodomy on a child, two counts of object rape of a child, unlawful kissing of a child, criminal trespassing in a dwelling, and burglary of a dwelling. He has not been formally charged yet.

According to the arrest statement, on Sept. 8, 2025, officers with the Bluffdale Police Department responded to a report of trespassing. When they arrived, the parents of a 12-year-old girl reported that she
