COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) -- The head of Ohio's Department of Medicaid is stepping down.

Governor Mike DeWine made the announcement Thursday that Maureen Corcoran will leave her position on Oct. 31.

No successor has been named yet. DeWine said that information is "forthcoming."

“I wish Director Corcoran the very best in this next chapter,” said Governor DeWine. “Maureen has served the people of Ohio well throughout her career in public service, and I am grateful to her dedication and commitment to her fellow Ohioans.”

Director Corcoran has served as ODM Director since January 2019.
