PORTAGE, Wis. (WKOW) -- Wauona Trail is blocked Thursday afternoon while crews repair a disabled train.

According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, the crossing at Wauona Trail will remain blocked for "several hours" while repairs are made.

People are asked to use different routes while the repairs are made and until the train can be removed. The sheriff's office did not provide an anticipated time for Wauona Trail to reopen.
