OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Scattered showers are expected to continue for the rest of the afternoon into early evening hours. It will impact the evening commute so SLOW DOWN and pay attention to your surroundings. Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight, but the severe risk is low.

Temperatures won’t change much for the rest of today and will cool down to the lower 60s tonight.

Later tonight the rain will become much more isolated and lighter heading into the overnight. There should be nothing more than sprinkles by Friday morning. A few more storms are possible after about 3pm Friday into the evening hours. That again should keep us cooler in the 70s Friday.

Total rainfall through Thursday & Friday will likely stay under 1″ for most of us but a few places could top that.
