BUFFALO, Mo. — A Dallas County woman has been charged following a car crash in Buffalo on Tuesday, July 29.

According to court dockets filed on Wednesday, Sept. 17, Challotta Peppard, born 1970, of Long Lane, has been charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter, failure to drive in the right-hand lane of the roadway, owner operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility and failure to register a motor vehicle.

The probable cause statement says the Dallas County Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of West Dallas St. and S. Willow St. in Buffalo after a report of a motor vehicle crash on July 29.
