TEXARKANA, AR (KTAL/KMSS) — The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is being recognized for its efforts in helping high school students prepare for college.
The university has been ranked second in Arkansas for students earning both a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously.
"We are extremely proud of our students for their hard work and dedication in earning associate degrees while in high school,” said Laura Clark, the university's Interim Chancellor. “Just as importantly, we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our faculty, school districts, college personnel, and families, whose encouragement and commitment made this achievement possible.”
Dr. Mikki Curtis, the Dean of Secondary Programs, stated that the model demonstrates that students can achieve
