WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- The man arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a teen waiting for a school bus was formally charged on Thursday.

Gonzalo Ramirez Alba, 31 of Wichita, has been charged with: • Aggravated kidnapping • Aggravated criminal sodomy • Aggravated indecent liberties with a child; 14<16 years old • Aggravated indecent solicitation of a child; 14<16 years old

A protective order was also issued, saying Ramirez Alba cannot have any contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18.

The incident happened around 5:45 a.m. on Monday in the 1500 block of South Kansas near Harry and Hydraulic. Police say the teen was waiting at the bus stop when the man was able to lure them into his vehicle and assault them.
