The Watershed Alliance and Pennsylvania American Water talked about advances in treating wastewater so it's safe for the watershed.
"Everybody lives in a watershed, so making that connection between where you live, where you play, and the water quality is very important," said Emily Neideigh, executive director of the Watershed Alliance of York.
The alliance held the tour as part of its 23rd annual Watershed Week.
