A coastal storm produced heavy rain in parts of Maryland and Virginia yesterday. Our viewing area was on the northern edge of the storm, and some backyards were able to pick up some measurable rain. Although the rain was welcome, it wasn’t nearly the amount needed after a week-long dry spell. Areas that did receive some rain yesterday may start with some fog this morning before it burns off, and the rest of today will feature mostly sunny skies. It will be right back to the warm and dry weather from earlier this week.

The sun returns today with highs in the mid-80s by the afternoon. Tomorrow will also be sunny and warm with highs again in the mid-80s. A weak, moisture-free cold
