This time, every Big Ten men’s basketball team will have a shot at the conference tournament title.

The league announced on Thursday that all 18 teams will participate in the conference tournament this season, a change from last year. Last season, the first with 18 members, the Big Ten basketball tournaments featured the top 15 teams in the standings.

While the women’s tournament will remain a five-day event with just 15 teams, the men’s event is expanding. The bottom four teams will play in Chicago’s United Center on March 10 (a Tuesday), followed by four games on Wednesday. Seeds 5-8 join the action on Thursday, while the top four seeds get a double-bye into Friday’s quarterfinals.
