MACON, Ga. — A former Jones County poll worker has been sentenced to federal prison for threatening to bomb a Jones County precinct , according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia.
The press release says Nicholas Wimbish, 26, of Milledgeville, has been sentenced to serve 20 months followed by one year of supervised release and a $2,000 fine for threatening to bomb a Jones County precinct, harm poll workers, and lying to the FBI during the investigation.
