JEFFERSON, S.D. (KCAU) — Truck drivers, often referred to as "the last cowboys," were being appreciated for the valuable services they provide.
Great West Casualty Company staff members greeted truck drivers. They handed out snacks, gifts, and atlases to them as they drove through the weigh station located between Elk Point and Jefferson, South Dakota, on Interstate 29. National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is celebrated across the country each September to recognize and thank truck drivers for their work.
