EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — SONIC announced a $30,000 donation to fund classroom projects at Evansville area public schools. This contribution celebrates three local SONIC locations ranked among the Top 50 in the nation.
Each of these top-performing locations received $10,000 from the SONIC Foundation to support local schools through DonorsChoose, a platform where public school teachers can request funding for classroom projects.
One of the Evansville crews ranked in the top 12 nationally and will compete in Nashville next month for the title of the top SONIC in the country.
