The Coachella Valley Firebirds announced that they will play one exhibition game in the run-up to the 2025-26 season which begins on Oct. 10, but it will be on the road.

The Firebirds will play an exhibition game against rivals Ontario on Thursday, Oct. 2. The game will not be played at the home of the Reign, though, it will be at the Toyota Sports Performance Center, the official practice facility of the Los Angeles Kings and Ontario Reign, in El Segundo.
