ALAMO, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is accused of leading numerous law enforcement agencies on a cross-county chase on Thursday after seriously injuring a woman in Alamo, Tennessee.
The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department says the suspect, identified as Wesley Barrett, 46, left a pedestrian injured on West Church Street in Alamo on Thursday.
The sheriff’s department did not reveal how she was injured, but says Chief Deputy Eric Uselton encountered her in the roadway and radioed for help while rendering aid.
Another deputy in the area listening to the call saw Barrett’s red Dodge Dakota, which matched the description for the suspect’s vehicle, and initiated a pursuit along Highway 54 North.
