DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) — Grab your dancing shoes! The Daphne Civic Center is set to hold its Annual Black and White Ball.

According to a City of Daphne release, the ball will take place on Friday, Sept. 19, beginning at 6 p.m. Attendees should wear semi-formal or formal attire.

The event celebrates 25 years of ballroom dance at the civic center with Mark Swalley, a local radio personality, emceeing the event.

Attendees can expect performances from professional ballroom instructors. In addition to the dancing, the City Rhythm Big Band will be providing music fitting for the swanky evening.

Tickets can be purchased with cash, check, or credit cards at the Daphen Civic Center for $25 or $250 for a table. Credit card payments will be accepted at the door.
