HEREFORD, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — On Thursday, a second person involved in a drug case out of Hereford has reached a plea agreement. Juan Quiroz-Rodriguez has agreed to plead guilty to the "Possession with intent to distribute 500g or more of methamphetamine."
This charge stems from an incident in March, when federal authorities intercepted packages of suspected liquid meth of about 18 gallons of drugs, filled them all but one with water, and conducted surveillance on Joel Lopez. Officials said an undercover agent delivered decoys to a Hereford location.
