LA PORTE, Texas – Law enforcement is at the scene of a home in La Porte where officials say a man is believed to be barricaded inside.

The incident is happening in the 11600 block of N. P Street.

La Porte police were dispatched to the address after a gun was fired during a domestic disturbance Thursday evening.

Authorities say there are no known injuries at this time and the incident is believed to be contained with no imminent threat to the public.

The La Porte Police Department said more information will be released on the incident once they clear the scene either later Thursday night or early Friday morning.
