LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A meeting was held Thursday night to look at the future of downtown Lexington.
Leaders in Lexington are looking to draw lines on the map, to district the city, but they want community members to weigh in.
Some people worry they will be pushed out of the city with the plans to district.
Planners with the City of Lexington say the goal of the downtown master plan is to make sure it is a community-driven plan for the future of downtown Lexington.
“People who have a lot of ideas to share, and that’s what we want. We want people to come out and share their ideas so that they can really guide this plan,” Boyd Saewe, the principal planner for the City of Lexington.
