DERBY, CT. (WFSB) - Injuries were reported after a car vs. motorcycle crash in Derby Thursday.

Police say that it happened in the area of Seymour Avenue near the Route 8 north entrance ramp.

The motorcycle operator was launched from their motorcycle and sustained a severe head wound. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car stayed on scene.
