NORWALK, Conn. (WFSB) - A 16-year-old employee was issued a juvenile summons after a Norwalk smoke shop was found to be illegally selling marijuana products.

On Sept. 17, Norwalk police executed a search and seizure warrant at A and Z Tobacco and Vape Shop on Connecticut Avenue. Police say this is the fifth search warrant they have executed at A and Z.

“Under Connecticut law, it is illegal to sell products containing a THC concentration greater than 0.3% without a state-issued license, as well as to sell marijuana outside of a licensed dispensary,” Norwalk police said.

During the search, officers seized 15.8 pounds of nitrous oxide flavored gas, 2.32 pounds of marijuana in pre-rolled cigarettes and containers/bags, 1.08 pounds of THC vape products, and 1.22 pounds of cannabis gummies.
