CLEVELAND — Questions are growing about whether free speech can really protect you from getting fired at work.

Dozens of people, including ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel , are facing backlash over comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk's murder, prompting political debates in homes, the workforce, and social media. Case Western Reserve University School of Law professor and First Amendment attorney Andrew Geronimo believes what's happening right now across the country is a "slippery slope."
