Work is well underway at a major award-winning housing development on the edge of Plymouth - with one house being built each week from now on. Demolition and infrastructure work began last year at the former Collaton Cross RAF base near Yealmpton where none of the 125 properties that are being built will be used as holiday lets or second homes.
The Collaton Park project will have a principal residence restriction to ensure the dwellings fill a local housing need. Plymouth-based Pillar Land Securities is delivering the project under its A Different Approach (ADA) initiative and has already been lauded with awards.
