Crews made quick work of a fire Thursday evening at a nearly 100-year-old house in the Hyde Park section of Los Angeles.
Firefighters were called at 10:10 p.m. Thursday to 6748 S. Arlington Ave., one block west of Van Ness Avenue, where they found heavy flames coming from a detached garage at the rear of the one-story home, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took just 11 minutes for firefighters to put out the blaze at the home, which the LAFD said was built in 1926.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
