A non-residential football coaching camp has been launched at three venues in South Andaman – Dollygunj Ground, Bhatubasti Ground, and Rangachang School Ground – under the initiative of the Deputy Education Officer, South Andaman. The camp, aimed at school-going boys and girls aged 8 to 17, is completely free of cost.

The camp was inaugurated on 18th September 2025 at GSSS Bhatubasti Ground by Mr. Vikram Singh, Director of Education & Sports. In his address, Mr. Singh highlighted that the primary objective of organizing such sports activities is to keep students engaged in healthy pursuits and away from harmful habits like drug use.
