As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the South Andaman-based SVPMC carried out a special cleanliness drive across all 24 wards, targeting the removal of single-use plastics (SUPs).
The drive focused on clearing roadside areas, drains, culverts, footpaths, households, commercial establishments, private institutions, and even coastal stretches. The initiative saw active participation from Safai Mitras, municipal staff, and local community members at the ward level.
