CLEVELAND, Ohio — Magnificat won a matchup of state-ranked girls volleyball teams on Thursday, 3-1 over Archbishop Hoban.

The Blue Streaks took the match, 25-16, 18-25, 25-16, 25-23. It was their eighth straight win, improving their record to 12-2.

The Blue Streaks, regional finalists last season in Division I, are in Division II this season. They are ranked second in the latest Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association Division II state poll.

The Knights (11-3) are ranked first in the Division III coaches association poll. They were also regional finalists last season, in Division III.
