A tentative agreement has been reached between Anne Arundel County bus drivers and aides and their employer, avoiding a potential strike.
A union official confirmed that the school bus driver and aides have reached a tentative agreement with their employer, Student Transportation of America, averting a potential strike that could have disrupted transportation for students.
The union said the deal includes substantial pay and benefits boost while also creating a path toward adequate and affordable health care which has been a major sticking point during contract talks.
