Hot and more humid weather returns to Acadiana today and will last throughout the weekend. Temperatures start the day in the 60s to 70s, followed by highs in the lower 90s. Humidity levels will push heat index values into the upper 90s to low 100s. A few pop up showers or storms are possible too, mostly during the afternoon and early evening hours. The weather won't change much this weekend.
