Two restaurants failed their health inspections this week due to cockroaches, improper food storage, and hygiene practices.

Fat Boy’s on Apison Pike got a score of 61, the restaurant’s report citing multiple health issues including bugs inside the restaurant’s kitchen.

The inspector found multiple cockroaches inside one of the restaurants food preparation sinks.

They also note open boxes of food being stored on the floor of the freezer, no employees washing their hands, and multiple kitchen surfaces left unclean.

The ice dispenser was found to be dirty, along with the smoker room floor. Multiple spoons were found left “deeply embedded” inside open product, and hot water was unavailable in the prep area sink.
