The 2025 Panhandle-South Plains Fair is under way, bringing rides, food, fun as well as a showcase for some of the area's best agriculture and local talent.
This is the 108th edition of the fair, which kicked off Sept. 18 and runs through Sept. 27 at the fairgrounds at Broadway and Avenue A.
This year's fair is dedicated to Craig McDonald, a former member of the fair board whose family has been involved with the organization for generations, Wallace said. McDonald, a longtime leader in the Lubbock-area banking and agriculture industry, died in February at age 90.
